Working in a garden
never ever seems like work!
Michele (aka 'Bunny') and her family are avid gardeners. Her love of gardening goes back many years to her childhood. Since then she has been fortunate to have traveled throughout the world to find inspiration for her garden. From the historical gardens of Colonial Williamsburg, the formal gardens of Versailles, the artistic gardens of Giverny, the spectacular balconies in Venice, Italy and the wonderful gardens in England.

Everytime I smell lilacs their heavenly fragrance just captivates me and takes me back many years to my grandmother Carmellas yard. They had rows of lavender lilac bushes lined up between their house and the Assumption church that perfumed the entire yard (along with the fabulous desserts and breads she was always baking). There were [...]

What better way to celebrate Earth Day than in the garden growing organic lettuce and beautiful flowers. Also in my previous blog “Country Cupboards” rescuing antiques is another very Earth friendly and wonderful way to help the environment

We had such beautiful weather over the weekend, just perfect to proof dough and have it rise (well , with fingers crossed, of course).
