I would love it if you would join us for an afternoon of lovely conversation in French, with a variety of cuisine and cocktails. All while gazing upon these charming Santons that are out gathering produce in the petite orchard.

We hosted this adorable gathering last Spring for the Cafe et Croissants group that gather together to speak French.
All the Santons were purchased in France, the lilac plates are vintage, the teacups and saucers are Limoge, the linens were found in PA, the silver is antique.

After lunch we can take a stroll through our English Gardens.
Grilled Salmon and Asparagus over pappardelle
( this recipe is similar to mine but I use lots of fresh chives and grilled salmon in place of the smoked)

We have been cooking all the wonderful recipes that I wrote about in my last post. By planning out a weeks worth of recipes and menus I am prepared all week. It really is so much easier for me, especially having three kids to drive to and from 2 different schools several times a day. We can flip things around day by day and change it up a bit. Having all the ingredients and recipes on hand make cooking stress free and fun.
‘The Three Little Pigs’ china is from Tiffany’s The lovely decanter and glasses were my grandmothers.
Shortbread recipe is in the March issue of Martha Stewart Living.

Oliver asked for Turkey meatballs one evening for dinner, I try and make ‘sure things’ that they will eat and on some night I try an introduce something new. Like Martha Stewart’s roasted carrots with parsley and feta cheese.

This table reminds me of our gardens when Mr. Bunny and I are outdoors in our fruit orchard while all the flowers are on the trees.

Bunny, this is the darlingest tablescape. I especially needed to see something cheery and springy because we had monsoons tonight. Very Wuthering Heights. I know Oliver enjoyed the tablescape! Please tell him we have goats, sheep, donkeys, and chickens…and please give him a hug from “Gollum.”
