I CAN Still Party Like a Rock Star, well not really.

Starting off my Friday, busy in my still unfinished Studio..I have great plans for this room.  I love love love Fridays.  I know for sure that a few things will take place on this day.  I will NOT have to cook, we always get pizza, sometimes I make it homemade or order it.  I will get a blowout at my favorite hair salon sans children, they are all in school on Fridays.  If I work very late Thursday evening often until 2am I will be able to ‘play’ Friday evening as long as I can get Paris House stuff taken care of by 5ish.  I breath a sigh of relief on Fridays. It is the beginning of the weekend and I either have a cocktail party or go out to someone Else’s house Friday evening.

I started the day off in this Pink Tulle Skirt by Calypso, old Prada shoes that I am addicted to and a simple black fitted wool sweater.

I changed into a mini and high heel black boots for Happy Hour later that evening.

I have been so busy shipping orders all over the place and coordinating a few events that I almost cancelled my Happy Hour plans.  My friend texted me and I told my husband I wasn’t going out because I HAD to finish my Christmas cards Friday evening.  Mr. Bunny asked me what letter I was on.  ‘T’ I told him, he looked at me like I was the craziest anal nut job in the world.  He said OMG what will happen if you put off addressing UVWXYZ until Saturday morning????  Hmmm, he has a point,  I ran upstairs and changed and off I went to Happy Hour :)

Guess what…All Hell didn’t break loose, I finished my list the next morning and had a fantastic evening out.

I think one of my ten thousand New Years resolutions is to finish this room.  It is where we have an office, studio, and keep some of our inventory.  It is also where I hide my secret ‘Barbie” stash.  Hey what can I say I get a ton of creative inspiration from them.  We also have Champagne and snacks for clients on Friday afternoons. There is even a French Daybed if they have too much champagne…OKAY that has never happened, but would make one hysterical blog if it ever does.  They may never hire me again :)

I am very very traditional at Christmas time except in this room.. We are  more glitz and glamour and fun in here.  I stole I mean borrowed my assistant-for-the-day, vest for the photo shoot. She said its faux, I love it with the pink tulle skirt. Darn, she took it home with her!!  Thats Ok, I’m on a mission to find one just like it.

We have a snow storm on the way.  Luckily I’m not driving tonight.  We are finishing up wrapping some boutique items that are being shipped out across the country and then wrapping some family gifts for a party we are headed to over the weekend.

Mr. Bunny captured this picture late night during the most glorious snowfall.  This is the 200 year old carriage house on our property.  It is my favorite part of our home.  The side is stone and the front historic clapboard.

But now I must hurry to the party, the boys are waiting.

Just one more item to wrap and then I promise I’ll stop working for the night.

Luckily no tipsy clients on the antique French Bed, just some more Paris House Packages

I love wrapping elegant packages.  Sometimes its whats on the outside that counts.

Okay, see the lady Ice Skater that is face down?? Well that’s what I look like when I drink too many fun cocktails. ( sadly this means ‘Two’ cocktails)  Mr. Bunny drove me to Happy Hour went home checked on the kids.  My 16 year old offered to babysit, when Mr. Bunny returned Mrs.  Bunny was acting very silly.

Luckily I was not this bad.  I couldn’t resist adding these silly photos.  Like I mentioned Fridays are so much fun.
