Welcome to The Paris House. I hope you enjoy your visit during our first snowfall of the season. We had about 8 inches of powdery sparkling white magic. Grab a Cup of Hot Chocolate and put on your boots, mittens and scarf.. Grab a handful of snow, and lets have a snowball fight my friends. If the cold is not for you don’t worry at the end of this post we have a fabulous hearty meal for you to enjoy and some sweet treats to make with your children. And some cute fashion to enjoy.

We have been photographing our Winter Garden for over 16 years. I love the the magical blue sky that allows one only a very short time to be photographed each evening. Blink and you might miss it.

Beauty, Peace, Harmony, Happiness, Blessed. This is what I am feeling.

My sweet little boy.

Sweetness

The Garden House is quiet and waiting for Springtime activity.

All is Calm all is Bright

A few snow covered pumpkins in our pumpkin patch. Nature mesmerizes me each and every Day.

Shall I throw Chocolates off the balcony to you Mr Bunny my sweet Mr. Bunny….

The Tulips are sleeping along the Allees.

Our formal rose garden is sound to sleep for the Winter, resting so peacefully filled with beautiful promises this Spring.

An Old Fashioned Wrap Around Porch. If you stop by I promise there will be a piping hot cup of Hot Chocolate with Whipped Cream.

This sweet Snowman would make even the most Cynical person Smile.

Put Your Boots on and come on down to the Spring House or Ice House as some of my friends call it. It has interior stone walls and soaring high ceilings. A perfect Cave to wine taste in..there is even a cozy fireplace. We would have such fun together here..talking and laughing all evening long.

Are You Hungry after all the Fun and Games in the Snow my Sweetie Pies??!!
Well don’t Worry I have made some delicious Filet Mignon in a wonderful truffle butter Gorgonzola Sauce. We also drizzled it over our french fries. This meal taste like it took HOURS but we made it in 15 minutes.
Find The Breakers Hotel Gogonzola Truffle Butter French Fries recipe HERE Also read about our recommendation for the perfect gadget to cut those potatoes into perfectly sliced French Fries quickly.
{I actually made this even quicker..I used half a wedge of Good quality Gorgonzola Cheese, 3 oz of Black Truffle Butter, feel free to use white..I melted it in a saucepan over medium heat..then off the heat I added the juice of one orange. Whisk until velvety and pour over french fries and steak..

Now for the Sweet Ending. Cornflake Christmas Wreaths.
Perfectly easy treats to make with your kids.
Pull up a chair at our antique baking table and lets get started shall we.

Your house is so gorgeous anyway, but this time of year seems to just make it all the more beautiful! Is that possible? LOL
Ah we have the snow as well, and although I am NOT a winter gal, I love this time of year and the sheer beauty the snow cover brings. Add your gardens and festive decor and we have something that should be on the cover of a magazine!
Your little Oliver looks like my son all bundled up and enjoying the snowy weather. They are such fun at this age aren’t they? And the cookies, well Roan and I will try to make them soon!

How absolutely charming to visit your wondrous house dear Bunny! There’s a little pinch of Scandinavian fresh chic – looking from the outside – in your cosy dwelling, maybe the wood and the beautiful light yellow color made me think of that:) I love reading about your kind,’ tous les jours chicissime’ life. A Paris kiss!
Okay, this is easy — meet you on the porch in an hour. You bring the cocoa, I’ll bring cinnamon buns.
Let’s see, don’t think I have a coat for that kind of weather, but I don’t mind shopping on my way over!
xoxoxoxoxo
I am not good with the cold. I am really a Florida girl
, but if I can eat that yummy dinner and treats, then I guess I can do a little bit of snow ball fighting, but… just a little. Besides daaaaaaaaaahling, you cant really wear those fab shoes in the snow.
HOpe you are enjoying your weekend
