 Delicious Items!!

Fall 200925

Chic Items perfect for Gift Giving

Our Scarf collection is so chic and elegant from the very classic wool and silk scarves with the faux fur pom poms to the fun purple and black scarves with fringe.  I love them all and have kept a few for our private Paris House Collection.  I’m loving the purple scarf , so very Missoni…ish but with a very affordable price tag.  I plan to wear the scarf with the camel pom poms with my new J Crew gloves over a very simple outfit.  I love simple classic clothes with fun chic accessories.

{All of our scarves are  available now, they are in our boutique now. There are only a few in our inventory and we will NOT be re-stocking this item once it sells out.

Fall 200926 Fashionable Items Perfect for wearing all season long.

The dresses are also from Saint Tropez and tie in the front or on the side,  your choice.  They are a knit fabric and can be worn alone, with a scarf or with a little camosile under them.  We have kept one of the dresses with the ladies on it and one of the dresses in the black and grey for wearing throughout the winter season and beyond.  They come in two sizes..small/medium  and  medium/large.

  {Again these dresses are available now in limited quantity and are  in our boutique.   We also have two of the canvas bags left with the Lady on it and only two left with the man on it…they are in the boutique now. This will be it until after the holidays. }

Fall 200929

I enjoyed watching Marie put her scarf on, within seconds , like all French women she was able to tie it and wear it in about 5 different styles.  All beautiful and stylish.  I’m giving out scarves to teachers, hair dressers, family and friends and keeping of few too of course!!

{ outfit on left, Lily Pulitzer, shoes Prada.  Outfit in middle, Anthropology wool and tweed jacket with lined velvet, pants J Crew, same Prada Shoes, handbag Kate Spade, Marie’s Outfit Trench Coat her collection, Scarf in her collection also available in our boutique.}

{For all of our local readers and clients we are hosting  a Fashion and style class and luncheon at The Paris House Designs in January and May 2010  please contact us for more details}

The Gourmet Luncheon

It wouldn’t be a proper meeting at The Paris House without something wonderful to drink, something delicious to eat and a little girl talk of course.

We prepared a homemade chicken curry salad, a baked herbed sun-dried tomato  cheese topped over a bed of salad greens.

The cut crystal dishes and stemware were all my Grandmother’s pieces.  I think chicken salad should be served in something old fashioned and vintage.

    You are always finding the most beautiful stuff.. They are wonderful…

  3. Oh Bunny, it is so nice to be back and visiting The Paris House, I’ve missed you so! Thank you for always checking in on me and leaving such sweet comments. The scarves are delicious and the necklaces divine. I love seeing all your beautiful things and if it wasn’t 6:00 in the morning I would be sipping on champagne as I browse.

    Sorry to read about Oliver not feeling well, but happy to see he recovered the ordeal. I was also dismayed to read about the loss of your beloved Maggie. My own Sheldon is almost 12-years-old and my dearest companion. His health is excellent according to his vet, but he is losing his hearing.

    Now I’m going to go download your Thanksgiving tutorial, I know I will love it all! Oh, before I forget, I was so happy to see you feel the same way I do about sleeping being a waste of time. Tell your mother I have spent my adult life getting only 4–6 hours sleep each night and it still hasn’t caught up to me. I live with my sis who can sleep till the afternoon and I just don’t get why people would want to do that.

    Happiest of Thanksgivings to you and yours, enjoy!

  4. Oh Bunny, I was sooo enchanted looking at all the beautiful photos and reading all the beautiful stories, it just clicked that the winner of your giveaway is “Moi”! I can’t believe it! Precious little Oliver, yes, he must be my lucky charm! Merci little Oliver! You are adorable! I am sooo excited for one of your beautiful necklaces, I can hardly wait! Ok, I must calm down… Your scarves from Saint Tropez are so very lovely, I must check your boutique… and you know me and handbags, your Kate Spade is gorgeous! Your dear friend Marie is Tres Chic modeling the beautiful scarves! I love your crystal pieces and stemware, and the fact that they belonged to your grandma is so very precious… I would love to try the curried chicken salad too, yum! I have never seen anything so cute as Oliver’s little turkey apron! (except for Oliver himself!) I love how you always always have time to be with your children, that makes me so happy. I know what a busy life you have, but your family always comes first, like mine… Your photo of your November sky says everything I am feeling and thinking right now… peaceful, beautiful, abundant Thanksgiving blessings, and I wish the same to you and your family… Merci sweet firend! Bisous… Julie Marie

    When I was in Paris I was always so impressed with the natural way French women had with scarves! And the scarves there are gorgeous- tho pricey!
