Frightful Poem and Autumn Garden

IMG_5111My My Worst Nightmare

{by my son, Teddy R. at age 11}

There is a bed I lie

And ask myself why

Be the one?

That cries

I worry there about my fears

And lie in my tears

Then something that I hear

I get out of bed

Although I am scared

I really dared

To look under the bed

And right there I see a head

He reaches out to grab me

But as quick as  a bee

I go to the hall

But than I fall

I get up

And say, “giddy up”

Faster running from my fear

I felt like I was running for a year

Crash, crash bang, bang

He brakes through my door with a clang

He catches me and

Holds me tight

He is a really big fright

But then right there

I put up a fight

Just as he’s about to eat me

He puts me down

And the door laughs at me

Just as everything could be as bad as it could seem

I wake up and its just a dumb dream

*** It would be so nice
to always wake up and realize it was just a dream , ( unless of course its fabulous and fun!!!) luckily Gardening enhances my life and helps me through more challenging times , its my stress reliver, my meditation, and a huge part of my life that I could not exist without …….What do you turn to when you need to relax and de-stress??????

{If you are interested in gardens and flowers, the slide show is a sampling of our indoor and outdoor Fall 2009  gardens at The Paris House, drag the bar to zip through it fast…We have been busy potting all our paperwhites so they will bloom at Christmas and digging up and storing all our tubers and rhizomes to winter over in peat moss/vermiculite}

    Thank you so much for your comment about getting a second medical opinion in NYC!!! You are just so sweet ……and thoughtful!! It’ll be interesting to see what this recent specialist has to say(I’m not very impressed with her). Anyway….you always brighten my day.

    Hello Bunny, you have been really busy! I love your little slide show! The flowers are so pretty and the food looks yummy, especially those apples! Your son is some writer! I am glad it was just a dream of his! Also, I LOVE all the handbags in your previous post! (purse addict, you know!)… Some of your pictures were coming through really long and skinny before but everything looks great now! Love to you! Bisous… Julie Marie
