I AM BECOMING A BIT OBSESSED WITH THIS MISS SICILY PINK HANDBAG BY DOLCE AND GABANNA. IT IS MY FAVORITE COLOR AND MY FAVORITE STYLE, CLASSIC, BUT WITH A JOLT OF COLOR AND PERSONALITY…
Now for a little cooking and food, now this I can have….Homemade Blueberry Pancakes with Vermont maple syrup that I bring back from Manchester. Mimosa cocktails with rock candy swizzle sticks!!
CRAZY MIXED UP BREAKFAST AND DINNER DAY……
Once a Week We have a “Crazy Mixed Up Breakfast Dinner Day” I like to celebrate the wonderful Dr. Seuss and do something fun. I make homemade pancakes for the boys for dinner once a week. They think this is a riot!! I run out to my garden and pick fresh blueberries for our pancakes. The recipe that I use and have been using for years in Nigella Lawson’s American Pancake recipe that is in her “Domestic Goddess” cookbook . ** I double this recipe and add blueberries…. Whip up a batch of Mimosa’s and use pink colored rock candy as fun swizzle sticks.

Thank you to the Duchess at the rose tea cottage. I am so very honored to be granted this royal award by you my Dear….Please head over and visit this lovely blog.
I am off to The Finger Lakes. We are heading to The Finger Lakes to explore the Wine Trail, Discover New recipes to re-create at home, learn a little more about Mark Twain, visit McKenzie Child’s farm and studio, take in the glorious scenery and much more. I am hoping to come home with some new artisan finds to stock our new boutique with this Fall and I am always on the lookout for delicious Ice Wines to serve at my parties. I hear they have a wonderful shop that makes incredible hard cider. I usually get my from France so I will be thrilled to find a new source closer to home.

Bunny have a wonderful trip. Sounds like great fun, especially if there is hard cider involved. I loved the idea of making blueberry pancakes for the kids, they will always remember that! To happy times ~ deb
Have fun! See you when you get back. And I hope this trip is uneventful like some we've heard about in the past.
Oh, McKensie Child's farm and studio? I would love to be along for that visit!
I love breakfast for dinner and hot pink handbags.
What do I like to wear in the Fall? Well, here in Florida we're still in shorts, but we can put on a t-shirt with short sleeves instead of the summer tank-tops. Not much high fashion around the Hut, but we know when Fall has arrived, because we can turn the a/c off and open the windows once again. lol
Have a great trip, can't wait to hear about the farm and studio.
You are welcome darling, you and your lovely blog both are worthy of more. Enjoy the tiara!!

Have a fabulous trip. Just take care of yourself.
