I’m tired, it has been a busy day. I’m sure many of you busy moms can relate and may have had a similar day. Wake Up, make breakfast, do dishes, make beds, do some laundry, break up the boys fighting, workout (very very important!!!), run errands, dry cleaners, pharmacy etc., pick-up 15 year old from Geometry, ( this I do with great pleasure, He wants to be a surgeon and I’m hoping “Plastic”, he wants to get a jump start on math over the summer, I just hope He remembers all my chauffeuring him around and gives me the “Works” for free someday) come home make lunch, do lunch dishes, play with four year old, keep an eye on 12 year old (We have a rather large BEAR roaming in our woods!!! Would not like to see the bear running around the back yard chasing my sons) Start dinner, promised dessert, so need to make that, oh what was I thinking, clean up after dinner, tend to some Paris House business……COLLAPSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now it is my time , even if for only a few minutes. I’m grabbing a delicious piece of homemade “Mascarpone Chocolate Toffee Bars”. get the recipe HERE
Planning to light a few homemade votives, even though the sun is still streaming in…it relaxes me, put on La Boheme……..
Bring one of my favorite vases over to the table…We purchased this in Todas Santos, a little town off the beaten path in Mexico. I love it, it still has the price in pesos penciled on it. The little old lady that sold it to me was so beautiful . This will surely help me relax…….
As much as I would love a glass of champagne, tonight I’m in the mood for tea……
I’m going to bring everything over to the table, grab my computer, enjoy my dessert, tea, work on my blog and just relax for a few minutes, maybe JUST maybe go through some old Domino magazines……UNTIL I HEAR MOM!!!!!!!…..the word I enjoy hearing more than anything:)
