This is our “Tree house”, which is a balcony off of the master bedroom. It is surrounded by lots of trees and I always feel very peaceful up here and “pretend” its our tree house.
I love to go out here after dinner to have a cocktail with my husband, and if our older boys want to swim we can see them perfectly from up here.
It starts to get so lovely at dusk when all the outdoor lights come on in our gardens
I keep a deck of cards here, Oliver loves to play cards so he always joins us. All of us moms know how busy life is, its very hard to carve out any time for ourselves, so at least up here I can have a glass of wine, watch my kids and my husband and I can talk for a few minutes, play cards, and just breathe.
I hope everyone can find a spot that is special and relaxing. Maybe you have a wonderful jacuzzi to relax those soar muscles ( we don’t, so If you do I’m very jealous and don’t want to hear about it LOL), or even a small bench or swing on a front porch where you can read a book to your children. It doesn’t have to be big or fancy just your special place. Take it from me the years fly by, my oldest is 15 and will be off to college before I know it. The dishes can wait. Make some memories today!!!
The daisies literally seam to light up and glow at nightfall. I purchased them last year on sale at the end of the season and they are bringing me so much beauty and joy this year.

I love the Tree House. So romantic!!! and your daisies are gorgeous. I used daisies in my wedding, but I don't have any in my beds. I'll put them on my list. I do have my spot though! The side of our house is somewhat closed in by beds and trees. I have two concrete fountains running at all times, and an iron table and chairs. I love that it is open enough to see what is going on in the neighborhood, but still very private and serene. Have a great week!

We finally got our pool and spa completed and we are enjoying spending time there. I love being out by the pool and seeing the birds bathing on the ledge of the waterfall, I think they're enjoying our new addition as much as we are.
I wish we lived closer, I'd love to join you for a glass of wine in your beautiful treehouse!
