The Couscoussier pot designed by Nigella Lawson
It makes perfect steamed clams everytime

Just put all your clams in the top steamer pot and they cook beautifully, it holds at least 4-6 dozen clams
I purchased this fun bowl in Nantucket a couple years ago, I have it in several sizes and it is a staple during the spring and summer months at our home
delicious melted butter is put in individual petite bowls for each guest to have
always on my stove ready for a multitude of kitchen tasks
Not in a million years could I ever pick my “Favorite” kitchen product, gadget or accessory. No never , I just love to cook, bake and entertain too much to play favorites with any of the accoutrements that hold court in my favorite room in the house. Although there will always be many kitchen items that I couldn’t live without, the Couscoussier pot by the one and only Nigella Lawson makes my top ten of must have items for my kitchen.
Nigella has had this pot for over 20 years and IT goes wherever SHE goes. Just like Nigellas my couscoussier always sits on top of my stove where it feels both cozy and magistic. I use it several times a week and it is just so fabulous to look it that it would be a shame to not keep it on display and share its beauty with all those who pass through my kitchen.
I love the voluptuousness of its shape, like both a good woman and good meal should be, delicious, curvy, shapely, useful and with the promise of good things to come. I use it for everything. The big curved pot is perfect for cooking long pastas, for stews, soups, stocks, just about anything. The top part is great for making couscous, steaming vegetables and making English puddings. My favorite way to use my pot is to steam little neck clams. They take only minutes and I can put about 4-6 dozen easily in the top. They come out tender and perfect everytime.
This pot is as useful as it is beautiful, and sure to become an heirloom in your family.
