We are heading to The Finger Lakes this summer to go wine tasting and then we are going to Saratoga New York,” the August Place To Be” and Vermont. I need to pack for myself and my 3 sons and plan to be living out of a suitcase on and off all Summer, coming back to New Jersey to help care for and enjoy our many gardens and pets. I want clothes that hold up to the heat, pack well in a suitcase and look fashionista ready. Oliver’s chocolate covered hands will most definately end up on my white pants, but no problem, I can throw them in the wash! I always wear white pants/jeans in the summer with cute sandals and a pretty blouse.

I love dresses of all kinds, pretty Lilly Pulitzer dresses during the day with espedrilles and sexy black sundresses that go from dinner to drinks effortlessly. Straw handbags are always fresh and stylish, get a large one to throw in your childs sippy cup, toy, book , a sweater and anything you may need to keep everyone happy. Summer is the easiest season to dress for , no bulky coats, or boots, but that doesn’t mean you should be messy. Savor this season to flaunt your outfit that will not be hidden under a heavy winter jacket. Us American girls truly have the greatest style, if I do say so myself. We know when and how to wear our jeans, when Lilly is just perfect and when running errands in our yoga attire looks oh so good.
