The House of Flowers & Venetian Desserts in The Garden Room

Kirabati Island in the South Pacific

Kirabati is a very remote Island in the South Pacific near the equator. about half way between Hawaii and Australia. It is where the opening scene of Gilligan’s Island was filmed many years ago. It is one of the most difficult and remote places to get to in the world. It took us 36 hours by boat to arrive there, we even passed by Christmas Island. I love to travel and this was a thrill. It is also the first place in the world to ring in the new year!!!
