sometimes you just have to gild the lilly!!! these beautiful hard candied cherries from France taste as wonderful as they look. I put them on everyones glass at a party I recently hosted and everyone loved them. It is a little different then just rimming the glass with colored sugars, although I enjoy doing that as well. Last year I had beautiul edible gold gilded flowers floating in each glass of champagne as well as hot pink sanding sugar on the rim of each glass. It is all in the details and some of these details take only seconds to do
